Hello,
Many of you know me as 'ZeeBorg' on other sites. I've been making CZ52 grips for some time.
I've been asked to make replacements for the CZ82, and had a nice member send me a pair of grips to mess with.
I'm currently messing around making the grips 'different' and getting rid of the worn checkering on all of them.
Attached is a link to a pic of a prototype pair, and am trying to get your feedback. I did a worn snakeskin pattern on the grip panel.
The final result will look the same, but not be two-tone. (sorry)

Not my style, but I like the fact that you are experimenting--the more people out there making custom grips for the 82 the better, in my opinion! Did you have any other styles in mind?

those look pretty sweet. I have an old pair of original grips that I may have tinker with now. I was going to sell them but I am holding off in case the wood ones I bought don't hold up.

Interesting design, Zee. The pattern isn't to my liking but go for it. I know there will be folks that do like the pattern. For those of us who don't, I'm sure another pattern would be our liking. Good luck.

Without the two-tone, they could be darn nice grips. I do wonder how grippy they would be though. That snakeskin effect might not give the same control as even worn checkering.

For you who have not dealt with Zee, he does excellent work.
Here's a few of the grips he made for me. (on the 52s)
I'm sure the grips for the 82s will be as good.
