New guy here. I am very interested in buying a 97B, but have not seen one in person.
Most of the reviews all comment on how big the grip is. How does it compare size wise
to a Glock 21? I dont have a problem with the size of a Glock 21.
Thanks

Magnumfan: It's not just the circumference of the grip frame it's the aspect ratio of the grip frame. Have you ever held an older S&W model 39 & model 59? The 97B is deeper front to rear like a Model 39. The Model 21 is more balanced in the aspect ratio, much like a Model 59.
The 97B is more like the Model 39. I have one that I have a love hate relationship with. It's relegated to being a range gun. It's amazingly accurate, but I never carry it because of the fact that it's not a good hand meld coming out of the holster. I'm not opposed to the weight, though it's considerable. I routinely carry a SA TRP Operator (45oz) compared to the 38.5oz for the CZ97B. It's just that first grab that's awkward. It also is only slightly relative to glove size. My daughter has the same hand size that I do ( I wear a men's small glove ), however it works great for her. The Tanfoglio in 45acp fits my hand great! In the Tanfoglio they retained the same aspect ratio as a 75B. I don't know if that helps.

Thanks for the input. I might just go with an SP-01 instead. I can tell the SP-01 fits like a glove just from looking at pictures of it.
