Well I found a used (very little) CZ 75B stainless at the local gun store and had to buy it. I stoned and polished the action, installed a CZ hammer, 85 trigger, sights, and stainless guide rod (required a hole at the end of the slide...gulp). Polished the barrel ramp, FP block, extractor, face, etc. Slapped on some VZ Tigerstripe grips (grippier than Houge) and skate tape. Replaced all the springs (lighter main/recoil spring, extra power extractor, trigger spring), removed some coils from the firing pin block and presto...a 9mm sewing machine. I'm very pleased with the results and here's the end result.
