Desbiens Gun Leather
http://www.desbiensgunleather.com/ (http://www.desbiensgunleather.com/)
They make an excellent holster and will do business with them again without any hesistation. I have an OWB and an IWB for my 97 and they are both fantastic.

I acquired an Old World Pancake Holster #23539 (made in Italy) about eight months ago. It's for 5-inch 1911's and the AMT Hardballer. It has three belt slots & can be worn as a high-ride or combat style. Took a little breaking in, but fits the 97b like a glove. No problem latching the retention strap in either DA or lock & cock mode.

My friend who introduced me to CZ's gave me his old 75B holster and it fits my 97B great.
Its a Bianchi Size 15 belt holster with thumb break.
According to the Bianchi website, this appears to be what I have:
Model 7105
AccuMold? Cruiser? Duty Holster
Size 15
The CZ95B is not listed on their website but this size 15 works.

I haven't tried any of them (yet) but I assume they'll fit, since they're advertised as fitting the CZ97 alone.

I brought the Fobus, it was listed by Fobus as suitable. Doesn't fit. Ordered from High Noon - long wait.

+1 on DesbienGunLeather. Their quality is five star, and my holster doesn't telegraph at all in spite of my relatively small stature. I've since purchased another holster from them and will probably purchase more. There's a bit of a wait, but their products are very much worth it. These are top shelf people.
-
I purchased the Fobus PPS Belt Holster -- No go -- "Slide Stop" stops the pistol from going all the way into the holster -- Trigger Guard does not lock into (or come close) to the recess for the trigger guard into the holster.
Will try another -- Still looking for a Kydex Holster for Competitions.

-
I found that the Uncle Mikes 5421-1 model Size 21 fits pretty good -- I relieved the inside of the holster for clearance for the Slide Lock -- Will try to get pictures when I finish cleaning and putting it back together.

A purpose made Fobus for my CZ75 ruined the finish in less than ten presentations, A Fobus for my Ruger P345 took two men to get the pistol out of it. Keystone cops stuff. If it's a SS slide and the fit is proper, a Fobus would be OK, such as on my Ruger P95. But take the gun with you to try in the store -if you have a store around. I like Fobus and BlackHawk! paddle mag holders.
-
I bought one of these http://www.cowboyneeds.com/440.html for an M1911 but I discovered that because my Wilson has an extended safety, every time I snapped the strap shut, it released the safety so it wasn't suitable for that pistol. I soaked it in warm water for several hours, wrapped my CZ97 in plastic wrap, forced it down into the holster, and let it dry for two days. I had to trim the strap over the hammer narrower and stretch it like mad but it's now a good fit.
-
Vega's cheap nylon "one size fits all" is actually good for 97B. Nice and flat. It has removable backstrap.
-
Blade-Tech makes IWB and OWB holsters for CZ's including the 97b. They make them to order, I had a OWB SRB model and mag pouch made in carbon for my SP01 Shadow Target. It is a very nice holster. Plan on ordering one for my 97b as well.

Its a shame Bulman Gunleather apparently went belly up. I ordered one of the PDL IWB holsters years ago, and it was very well-made, and was, and still is, the most comfortable IWB holster I've ever worn. Better still, my CZ97 holsters fit my STI Tactical 4.15, for which holsters are more scarce than the CZ97.

For competition STAY AWAY from the Fobus paddles. As an SO/RO I've seen too many new shooters draw gun AND holster.
-
Just received my holster IWB #3 and mag. holder trimmed in Shark skin today for my CZ97B from www.desbiensgunleather.com. Very happy and looks good.
Rhome and Belen Desbiens great people to deal with.
-
I have two that work. First the Model M12 Universal Military Holster - Bianchi. The second that I've been using for more formal occasions is a Galco paddle holster that is made for an fnx. The 97 is a bit long but I don't carry it very often and it works.

mtrcustomleather.com is making 1 for my 97bd right now. Will post pictures and review when it arrives. http://mtrcustomleather.com/shop/.

One problem I am finding on the canvas holsters is the fiber optic front sight. That snags on just about everything I have tried, to the point that you can hardly remove the gun from the holster. Has anybody tried these other holsters (like the Blade-Tech) with the new CZ97B that are being sold with the fiber optic front sight?
-
I ended up with the blade-tech, ordered from CZ Custom. It seems to work pretty well and the "sting ray attachment" is a bit wider and does give it a lot of support. It is, of course, Kydex so I think I will do a bit of sanding along the top edges. Have to watch to see if it causes finish problems. BTW, I ordered online, it shipped the same afternoon and I had it priority mail on the fourth day. Excellent service from CZCustom!!

Anyone know whether a 97bd will take a different holster design than a 97b?

No, they would be the same.

I actually just used the Desantis Speed Scabbard, I looked and looked, tried lots of them, then noticed that the one made for the Sig Sauer 220

Anyone with a CZ 97B looking for an IWB holster, I had mine made by Mulit Holster. It is leather and kydex. Works great for me.
They also make holsters for the CZ 75 PO1 and PO7 that will accommodate the crimson lasers.
See link below
CZ 97B is not listed on their sight But I asked them for one and they made it.

I had a great IWB Moon Hybrid Holster made by MultiHolsters (http://multiholsters.com/).
They did a great job - I can carry my 97B all day with no problem.

Dara Holsters makes a nice kydex holster for the 97B...
1 x Custom Action Sport OWB Holster

I flipped the belt clip upside down and now the holster rides lower on my DAA competition belt.

Just ordered a BladeTech holster from CZ Custom.
Saw it was posted previously but the link was no longer good.
Updated link:
https://czcustom.com/bt-belt-holster-cz-97b-right-hand.html
A decent Holster...will pretty much only be used for the range, but it may see a USPSA match or two.
Added a Tek-Lok attachment, as it came with a basic belt loop.

Here's the M12 GI holster (not the Bianchi commercial version which has a different trigger guard spacer(?)). Note that the beavertail grip does stretch the flap a bit.

This was mentioned early in the thread, I just wanted to provide a photo here for reference.

I don't think it's been mentioned previously, but Red Hill Tactical makes kydex holsters for most, if not all, CZs, including the 97. His holsters are designed for competition use, and I know the 97 doesn't see much action in that regard. However, RHT can make a level 2 retention holster as well. These holsters are very well made. Check 'em out.

Alex Boriqua's holster and magazine pouch for my 97B arrived yesterday and they are beautiful. Can't wait for my 97B to return from CGW to try it out.

Fobus #SG5 for the SIG pro 2340 2009, 2075 Rami, CZ SP-01
Perfect fit for the 97B with 1/2" of barrel exposed.
-
Simply Rugged Leather makes a very comfortable and secure two position pancake holster for CZ75 SP01 that fits perfect. Both my SP01 and 97BD have FO front sights. No issues. I also have a Safariland paddle holster that fits either gun. This paddle is very secure - hard to remove without undoing your belt - but you will not be pulling the holster out with the gun.
-
I?m using a Falco leather holster made for Beretta 92, fits perfect!
-
I just picked up an eBay special from Turkey. Only paid about $50. It?s by no means a high grade holster and first impression was that the leather was decent but the holster felt flimsy. However, it?s a perfect fit and on the belt it?s retention is 100%. Because it is such a perfect fit the draw is what I would call slow. But you can adjust the cant.
I will post some pictures when I get a chance to snap some.

https://www.amazon.com/LEATHER-PADDLE-HOLSTER-BROWN-COLOR/dp/B0158RPE6Y?th=1&psc=1
Funny thing, I can't find it on eBay anymore but they are now on Amazon (link above). I use it for carry around the house. Not a strong choice for duty because of the way it attaches to the paddle, feels flimsy. But fine for civilian use. Nice thing is its a perfect fit for me SP01 also. I got one in black but right now I only see Brown available. If your looking for something simple this is a decent holster for the CZ 97.

I just bought a horsehide shoulder holster w/double magazine pouch for my 97BD from Kramer Leather in Washington State. First class leather holsters. Pictures when I get it.

For those looking for a Kydex range holster, the Comp-Tac International for the SP-01 is an excellent fit. This is NOT a positive retention holster, so I don't know how well the pistol will stay put running or rolling around on the ground, but for general range use, it's excellent. Plus, it comes with all the parts and hardware to set it up as either a belt slide or paddle, it includes a drop/offset, and it's adjustable for cant. Later.

Just picked up a Vedder Light Tuck. They made it and had it in the mail in two days. Very well made and comfortable. Will probably be ordering a leather holster, but for now, this works fine.
-
Just received an Azula holster that fits the 97 very nicely, it is originally designed for a railed Beretta 92A3. Here's a link: https://azulagunholsters.com/product/owb-2-slot-belt-holster
Took about 2 days to re-mold to the 97, I wrapped the muzzle with about 5 plastic sandwich bags and electrical tape as the 97 is slightly thicker at the muzzle as compared to a Beretta 92A3, shoved it in and let it set, retention is very nice and I feel it will only get better with use.
Although the company is in North Carolina the holster itself seems to be made in South Africa. The holster was in stock and took 3 days for delivery, price was about 52.00 with shipping.

I just ordered a Red Hill Tactical holster for the range and local comps for my brand new, still on its way CZ97 BD. As previously mentioned Vedder offers a couple variants of holsters. In my recent search also found that CrossBreed offers CZ97 holsters as well.

Have a new player to add to the list, Lenwood Holsters. Have ordered 2 holsters from them so far, first, one for my Sig P220R that I liked do much, I decided to get one for my 97 BD, both of which he had to get molds for so they could be added to the list. Both are OWB, the Wraith model, Kydex, and are a perfect fit to the guns. Retention is positive and adjustable, and the holsters are extremely comfortable even when driving, pretty surprising considering both are large guns. My only complaint so far, is now I have to order one for my PCR, these are just way more comfortable than the JMCK OWB I currently have for it. Check them out, the don't have a huge, confusing model line-up, but what they do have is rock solid and well thought out. Price is very reasonable, $75 to your door. Later.

I was just going though the gun list at TTGunleather and noticed that Tim is now making holsters for the 97B. I have two of Tim's holsters. Looking to get a third! Great leather! His turnaround is now about 4-weeks. Much faster than most custom holster makers. https://www.ttgunleather.com/

When I was looking for a holster for the 75D Compact, I saw mention that the Sig 229 family of holsters would fit. Check before buying, but I’m pretty sure about that compatibility.
Is there one with the 97B, like maybe a standard Beretta 92 holster? I saw mention back a page or 3.
Just asking, it opens up a lot more possibilities with holsters, then even the used market.
-
I bout a MASC shoulder holster for the CZ75B and it fits the 97 also. As far as race holsters, if you run open, the SP01 DAA race holster insert will work on the 97B as well. I'm cheap so I bought the insert only and made the rest with aluminum from Lowes. I usually carry the 97 stock with shoulder holster. I like shoulder carry for eae of getting in and out of car. much better than on the hip.
