When the Kadet is bought as a complete pistol, which is far less often than as an accessory, any rig made for the CZ 75 should work fine, such as the generic Uncle Mikes number 5 size, or such slightly loose styles, to accomadate the sights. High Noon has a rig called the Skin Guard that should work fine.

FYI the Kadet and Holsters. In a Fobus you will find that the Kadet is "slightly" wider than a CZ75B. Enough so nthat if you can get the gun in, it's a booger to get out.

I tried a friend's Kadet yesterday. It is not a Kadet accessory kit, but a full factory gun. It fit perfectly in my Shadow's BladeTech DOH holster.
-
I can confirm that my Blade-Tech DOH holster for my SP-01 does NOT work with my SP-01 with the Kadet kit installed.
-
Do not be fooled by Fobus or retail outlets selling Fobus holsters that their holster will fit a Kadet or Cadet as they spell it. It will not fit...just ask me how I know.
-
I've recently ordered a new Kadet kit and was told that it would fit my BladeTech holster on CZ75 frame but not on SP-01. Is that correct? What holster can I get for it to fit with SP-01 frame?
-
At least for me, this thread has not provided a clear answer. I have a CZ75B 9mm and I also have a Kadet II upper that I use on the cz75 lower. I would like to purchase ONE BladeTech or similar holster that will work smoothly for practice and competition with BOTH configurations. Can anyone provide a definitive answer as to what will work and what will not work? Or alternatively, would such a holster be too much of a compromise and not be satisfactory for either?
Thanks & best wishes

I now know for a fact that my buddies SP01 BladeTech holster works with his Kadet2 kit on 75 frame but won't work with SP-01 frame with Kadet mounted on it. So you'll be just fine with SP-01 BladeTech holster.

After some experimenting this is what I found. If you have a Kadet kit on SP-01 frame you can still use the same BladeTech holster but would need to add a 1/16th washer next to rubber spacers to widen the holster to accommodate Kadet slide. It's a perfect fit and won't take but few minutes to add two washers.

I had a Kydex holster that fit my CZ-75 9mm perfectly, but would not fit my CZ-75 with my Kadet II kit upper.
I solved the problem by putting 3 layers of painters masking tape around my Kadet upper - both to add a little size and to protect the finish of the Kadet. I then slowly heated the problem areas of the holster up with a heat gun and then (fairly easily) shoved the Kadet into the heated Thermo plastic holster & let it cool. After I removed the tape, the holster fit the Kadet perfectly and still fit with the 9mm upper. Problem solved.

I have a SP-01 Tactical 9mm with the Kadet Adapter II, the TLR-2G light/laser and the SS Sparrow. I use the Ready Holster and it holds everything fine without modifications to the holster. I ordered the CZ75 SP-01 Tactical holster for light/laser $24.00 shipped. The FOBUS ROTO PADDLE Holster uses a plug for the muzzle that does not allow for the 22 barrel. The ready holster works for both 9mm and 22lr configurations.

Blackhawk serpa for 75/85/SP01. Fits the kadet like a champ.
-
Shadow SP-01 with Kadet 2 doesn't fit in an IMI retention holster. (at least you know what doesn't work)
-
Kadet on an SP-01 frame will fit in a Bladetech P-09 holster, just have to loosen the screws a few turns.
-
Indeed, the kadet doesn't fit the Fobes holsters (just found out). >:(

I recognize this thread started in 2010 but I thought it might be better than starting a new one. I'm looking for range holster for my SP-01 Tactical that has a Kadet conversion on it. Kydex would be nice but I'll settle for a nylon holster with a retention strap. I'm just looking for a way to carry/deploy the weapon on the range without having to bench or ground it.
