Title: Have the new CZ 97B models with the light rails come out yet?

Roger where did you here of a 97B with a rail? I have the 97B and BD but never seen or known of one with a rail. There were some special runs of Nickel Plated one's i believe for RSR not sure tho. David

Post by: Otto N Sure on October 30, 2010, 09:10:50 AM: AFAIK there have been no 97B's with a light rail. I have one of the very unique satin nickel "RSR Specials", but that's the only different 97 that CZ has made and that was back in 2004.

I have also seen where Cylinder & Slide and Novak have mountable accessory rails for 1911's. Would something with a 1913 pictanny scope mount rail inverted and mounted on the frame work?

Don't get me wrong, the 97B is a great shooter and very well built. I had one for (3) years and it was too big for my hands. I traded it on a CQB.

Post by: schmeky on November 17, 2010, 08:57:09 PM: You could add one of these. Not sure how well the contour of the 97's lower dust cover would mate to this rail but a good smith could make it look good.
