If they're true factory mags, they are Mec-Gars and identical to the ones that come with the CZ-97Bs.  Good mags.  You may be able to beat that price elsewhere, however.

(But not by much.  Shipping might be lower elsewhere.)

I think Arizona Gun Runners has them for $17 each but they are EAA so you may have the dreaded gap.

You'll have the dreaded gap, regardless.  Some of the newer ones have a thicker baseplate, and that's the only difference.  (CZ seemed to make that change with some of their new 97Bs.)

Yep. For me I will save the $5 or so a mag and live with the gap since it does not look bad to me anyway.

Brassman, you are making a BIG mistake.  If you have a gap on the bottom your mag is not sitting up high enough.  If it does not sit high you will have FTF.  Get your mag catch fixed so the mag will sit high and there will be minimal problems with most any mag. Bin there done that.  If it seats tight on the bottom it will be high enough to feed just fine if you have your ramp fixed.  Don't use the mags with the thick base plates.  They are just a cosmetic fix not a mechanical one.

Not really.

Most of the older mags have a gap.  The new mags that fill the gap have a different base plate.  Nothing has really changed.

I had, at the same time, a 97B, a ASAI One Pro, and a Sport Long Slide.  All in .45. all the mags were identical except for manufacturer markings.  All made by Mec-Gar, and all fit and functioned interchangeably.

Correct Walt but with the different baseplate you can't modify the catch to put the mag 1/16 of an inch higher.  That was most of the problems I used to have before the modification.

Actualy I have not had any problems. It has been a great pistol even with those mags.

You can modify the base plates, with a Dremel.   I'm glad, however, that I'm not faced with this aggravating issue. My only .45 on the CZ model, at the moment, is a Witness Sport Long Slide, and it is fine, as is.  (I've got a couple of CZ-97B mags that I use with it, and they are identical to the EAA factory mags, and both types are made by Mec-Gar.)
