I was out at the range today with my buddy that bought the 97b I had. If you remember it is the one that sheared the barrel lug off.

Anyway, they have been shooting it with blazer and for the last 2000 odd rounds it has been fine. I asked him to keep me informed on how it does over the next couple of thousand rounds. Mine broke at around 3000 and so if it is some latent problem with the frame, I expect his to shear off in the next few thousand rounds.
Accuracy was good and the trigger seems to have smoothed out nicely over the last 5000 odd rounds.

So, did he just replace the barrel?

CZ replaced it under warantee. I lost confidence in the gun and sold it.
