Title: CZ-97 Mag funnel (magwell extensions)

Does anyone know where I can get some mag well funnels / Mag well extensions for the CZ-97? I've seen em for every other pistol system it seems. Any ideas on a mod that might work?

Also, where can I get mag extensions / baseplates?

Flared magazine well extentions are mostly appropriate to pistols that use single stack magazines.  Pistols like the CZ 97 that use dual-stack or staggered magazines have a built-in taper to the top of the mags that makes inserting them easier in a hurry.  Flared mag wells benefit competition shooters more than casual shooters, and since the CZ 97 isn't used that much in competition, there's even less demand for them.

And, no, I don't know of any, but I haven't really been looking.  If you find something on this, add it to your post so others with the same question later can benefit from your research.

The gun is used mostly at ranges and in IDPA.  An add-on mag well would be illegal in IDPA, or force you to shoot in Custom Defensive Pistol division with a max of 8 rounds.

I know that there are more competition parts availible for the Witness, anyone know if someone makes mag funnels for them?

i'm not going to use this for competition, I'm going back to Iraq. Although it is pretty easy to do mag changes without a mag well flare, the flare makes it easier when your hands are shaking from the adrenaline or if you've just been running, etc etc etc.

and trust me, making it even a little easier is well worth it.

The tactical sport is built on (I believe) the 45 size frame, the magwell htat comes on the TS should then fit.

What branch are you serving with?  I think its great that they're allowing the troops to bring personally owned sidearms with them.
