I just wanted to thank all of you guys for making the 97b an even better buy. I'm about move out of NY, which means that it'll soon be legal for me to even **think** about guns. I was thinking about all the DA/SA options, and the 97b sounded like a good gun, especially for the price. But once I found all of the well-reasoned and evenhanded comments and advice on this forum I was even more excited about the CZ: I knew I would always have a good place to turn if I encounter any questions or problems. You guys are great fans: your fanatacism actually adds value to the object of your adoration!

Come on now! You know you have thought about them.
You will not regret it. Feels good, accurate, its a .45. looks like a tank and built like one, 10rds in a flush mag, DA/SA and of course the greatest bunch groupies in the world. Whats not to like.

I'm definitely settling in the Miami area, but after I finish up at NYU this year, I may spend a year in D.C. clerking for a federal judge. I like to tell my wife (who's from Miami) that we're just gradually moving down the eastern seaboard...

You're moving the wrong way!! Come out to friendly confines of the desert! We need more guys like you here in Vegas. Remember, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"

Yes the desert is good. No Hurricanes either.

Hey, Las Vegas is nice; I've been there a few times and the people are great. But that's not quite my type of town. And although I'm not familiar with all the Nevada gun laws, with all the progress the NRA is making in Florida, you gotta love the place! Check out the latest one:

I actually find this one a little questionable; it's a good question whether property rights (the rights of the corporation -- regardless of how silly it is -- to exclude guns from their private property) trump the 2nd Amendment rights of the workers. I'd be curious to see what you guys think about it.

Well I think private property is private property. I do not think they should be able to keep you from having it in your automobile but as much as I disagree with it I do think they legaly should have the say so on what comes in and out of the work place. If it was public property I would say no way and if you are a stock holder and were not asked I would say no way. Just my opinion.
