Trying to solve a bit of a mystery to me. Some 75b's have a slide wider at the nose with full length rails, while others have the slide nose and rails machined down.
I have a 10 75b with the smaller slide, and an 11 75b SA with the smaller slide. Yet I have also seen some standard 75b's with the wider slide too. Anyone know what the reason for the two sizes is? And where they are used by CZ? Seems like holster fit would vary too.

I think the standard Bs with the wide slides are 40s. I would think those slides are a bit heavier. That might be why they are used on the 75sa for less recoil. Just a guess.

Thanks, I would think cartridge/chambering would make a difference. Mine are both 9's, but I have seen standard 75b's in 9mm with both sizes. Not sure what that means. And yes, the sa weighs 37 oz, and the std 75b is 35 oz.

Does the 9mm Shadow have a bigger dia. bbl? Others?

I believe all the SP01/Shadow barrels are like .550 and the 75B barrels are .510
but I don't have any in front of me.

SP-01 barrels are 0.550", 'standard' ones can be 0.502" (mostly) or 0.504".

what size is a standar .40 barrel? so if i ordered the shadow slide could i fit it on my .40 frame?

75B Compact .40 also is a full slide.
