Title: Nickel stainless Compact
Post by: Golddogman on April 15, 2006, 11:59:51 AM
Am I correct in remembering that nickel stainless 75B Compacts are quite scarce? A friend shot mine and was impressed enough to start looking for one.

CZ doesn't make a nickel stainless model.

They make stainless 75Bs (full size); the also make a number of nickle plated steel and alloy models.

The only compact models available in nickel are the 75 Compact, 75 Compact D, and the PCR  (the 75 Compact D and the PCR are very similar.)  The 75 Compact is steel, the Compact D and PCR are alloy.

I don't know of any compact models in stainless, yet.

Walt: I don't know how "stainless" got into that post, except that I'm an idiot. I have a nickel compact. Are they rare?

Not common, but not RARE.  (Or no more rare than other nickel-plated models.)  I have one, too -- along with an equally uncommon (but not rare) nickel-plated 85 Combat.

A nickel-plated 97B *IS* rare, and seldom made.  (Generally only on special orders from a distributor.)
