OK, CZUB's never going to do this, but I just had to wonder...how interesting would the 527M be if it were semi-auto...

Keep the in lin 5 round mag, maybe offer a 10 round, maximum, but I think this would be VERY cool as a semi auto...of course, I'm very fond of it as is, too. :)

I spoke to a CZ rep and they're throwing around the idea of making a cz 527 bolt action in 7.62x39 that will accept AK mags.  ;D
