Title: PCR in Tactical School
Post by: frankieC on May 29, 2002, 07:34:00 PM
I just gave my new CZ PCR a workout this weekend at the Tactical Shooting Academy run by D.R. and Barb Middlebrooks in Surry, VA.  The gun was very accurate out of the box and held its own with the Glocks and Berettas there.  D.R and Barb run an awesome tactical school where  they teach the "FistFire" defensive pistol method which is easy to learn and greatly improved my accuracy in the two days I was there.  My wife attended as a novice only having shot 30 rounds from her gun prior to this course.  She was very nervous about shooting a gun, but Barb Middlebrooks took good care of her and had her shooting steel plates in no time.  Now she is as hooked on the sport as I am.  I'll have to buy her a PCR soon so we can continue our fun.  Incidently, we are both going to be 65 years old, so it shows you that you can begin to have fun at any age.
I can't say enough about the way the CZ PCR handled, and even D.R was impressed with the little compact.  Incidently, if you are interested in good tactical shooting training, look up www.TacticalShooting.com.  D.R. Middlebrooks has a good website. :)

A few months ago I was fortunate to get a full day of training from D.R. and his instructors.  The FISTFIRE system works ... since that day I've had better accuracy, better control of recoil and faster follow up shots.  The August 2002 issue of COMBAT HANDGUNS has a feature article on the FISTFIRE system.  Shoot safe, and have fun!

From what i know. D.R. is a top notch Gunsmith and Instructor.
also a .45 Witness fan.

Cen-dex should be selling the Witness holsters soon.
