I just picked up my new 75b compact. I love my full size mil, it had one of the best triggers I have ever seen out of the box...
this new compact is one of the worst triggers. HUGE travel in SA or DA mode, the travel in SA is unbearable. After the travel, the trigger is rough and stiff and just unpleasant in most ways.
What are my options to fix the trigger? I haven't fired the gun yet, the roughness may improve after I shoot it a bit but the excessive travel in not an option for what I intend to be one of my carry guns. Help?
Thanks, Jon

How odd, the three Compacts I have tried all had identical sweet triggers, with the PCR ever so slightly better. Have you contacted CZ-USA yet? Mike might be able to help.

I will email Mike shortly, I just bought the gun this evening. BTW, since I live in MA we can only buy old guns - this one is a 75 (not B) compact with 97 marked on it presumably meaning it was manufactured in 1997. Thanks, Jon

Sorry to hear about the trigger. From what I've read, the trigger is the achiles tendon of the CZ pistols. I've read a so-so reveiw of the PCR, and an awful reveiw of the CZ100. I've heard that CZ has fixed the 100 problem. Also, my Compact has a great single action trigger, but the double isn't perfect. I don't worry to much about it as I don't plan on doing a lot of double action shooting. Best of luck.
