Love my stainless CZ 75B, but I would carry it more if it were a bit lighter. To that end, I wish CZ would make the same pistol but with an aluminum alloy frame. I would buy that pistol in a heart beat.
Some will say: if you want lighter, why not get a poly framed CZ? For some reason the poly framed CZ's just have not given me the same thrill. I want the same dimensions, all metal, and just a bit lighter.

sounds like you need a P-01

If you are open to clones take a look at the Tristar C100. I handled one recently and I was highly impressed with how light it was.

CZ-40B has an alloy frame. Bit different from a CZ75 tho' [but can use the 75 mags, thank goodness!]

I like my Tristar C100 as well but it is a compact. For a full size lightweight check out the Canik 55 L120, available at Bud's.

Ordered a Canik L-120 from Buds. I guess I'll know something more about Canik in about a week. I see Canik 55 and TriStar reviews (mostly TriStar from individuals and the Canik reviews are mostly just videos from Buds). Both of these are made in Turkey. Are these two the same company? Close up of the Canik L-120 on Buds website shows the importer to be Sarco - not my favorite company. Oh well, you pay your money and take your chances. More to follow.
