Title: New stainless shoots a bit left

I've now put about 200 rounds through my brand new, beautiful polished stainless 75B. It's very accurate, but at 10 yards it shoots about 1.5" left and a wee bit high. I'm thinking about drifting the rear sight a bit to the right, but I noticed the rear sight has been staked. Have any of you drifted your sights? If so, how much force did it take to get past the staking? Did you re-stake after you made the adjustment?

It does take a bit of encouragement, but it will go
If you don?t have a Sight Pusher use a Nylon or Teflon Punch
Brass if you don?t have either of the other two

I do have a nylon tipped punch. Did you stake your sight again after you moved it?

It's not really needed
Still; Make a note of where the Sight Notch aligns with the Slide's Top Serrations
Watch to see if there's any visible movement over time

Have you tried some dummy rounds to make sure it's not you first?  I'm not trying to insult you or anything but most problems like this are user error.

I'm actually an pretty experienced pistol shooter. Not that it still couldn't be me :)  But, as it turned out, it was indeed the sights. I drifted them a hair and now things are just fine. Not too crazy about the trigger though. I might have to read up on what others are doing to their triggers.

One can't argue w/ success.  There is lots of good info on this forum about how to improve the trigger.  If you're going to carry you might look into a hammer from CGW, if it's for comp. you might try the comp. hammer from czcustom; I think CGW makes some comp stuff too.
