It is futile to struggle against the addiction.

Lol...well the range I go to doesnt charge by the gun, so I take 3 or 4 at a time. Actually I have a few more then that, but they are my hunting guns. A few shotguns and a some rifles. I don't really shoot them much other than hunting. But handguns are kinda my passion. Really though, as far as CZ's go, I never even heard of them till about four months ago when I was looking for a CC 9 for my wife. As soon as I held the P 01 I bought her I was hooked.

Congrats and a great choice of CZ's. If you don't like the factory plastic guide rod you can get a steel one from CZC - http://czcustom.com/CZ_75_SP01-Stainless-Steel-Guide-Rod.aspx  8)

Nice...looking forward to some pics.  Damascus is a great retailer, I wish CZ would give them a better supply.

I've had other addictions like smoking that cost more and had no good lasting impressions.  Guitars, radio control planes, helicopters, trucks and boats (those did have good impressions but MUCH more costly.

Now that I'm older will stick with the CZ addiction and sell off some of the rest.  Already did so with 17 guitars. Still have 1000 watts of power for the 4 I kept :-)

Congrats on the new addition to your family...  I just ordered from Damascus because of this forum.  They actually had a matte stainless 75B in stock, so I snapped it up!!

Now I'm trying to find a gloss blue version....

Small addiction, but an addiction just the same..  A good addiction if you ask me... :)

You will really like the .40.  I bought the last .40 Dual Tone Damascus had about 2 months ago.....I love it.  Sent it to CGW and its now a SA only with all of David's mods, sights, CW Custom SA trigger, Shadow thumb safeties etc.  Basically a .40 Shadow Target SA.  He did a fantastic job on the conversion.

It should show up Monday :D To bad for me I'll be out of town till Thursday :(
And yes, Damascus is a great dealer. And as far as I can tell, they only sell CZ's and Dan Wesson. I hope their exclusivity buys them some type of priority as far as shipments go. CZ's are harder to find then hens teeth right now, and they are out of just about all of them. It's got to be very worrisome. That's pretty much their whole business.

Wow, you really jumped into that gun. Congratulations. These CZ's shoot so nicely stock, I can't imagine how a customized one does. Would love to get a chance to try one out. Any of you guys live in Houston??  :D

UGH....I am so jealous....if I ever get the chance to own a CZ97 it will be the glossy blue. Been looking at that one at Damascus for a while now. Just haven't been able to get enough extra cash saved up.  Wish they had lawaway. :-\

When did you pick that up? Haven't seen styrofoam boxes in forever.

Had it for a couple years.  It's one of the czeck police guns.  Robertsons trading must have bought a conex full, they were only 330.00.    Pretty heavily used, still shoots as well as any new gun though.  Should have bought two.  Built in 1992.
