Well, I guess I'm the first on my block to receive the new MagLULA 22UpLULA
Guy TAL, the CEO of MagLULA sent me an early copy of both the 22UpLULA and their 1911A1, Single Stack Aligning Insert:

Now I really need to apologize here;
I just assumed the 22UpLULA would load both 22s and Centerfire Round just like the UpLula-K ..... BUT
The new 22UpLULA WILL NOT load Centerfire Rounds (as it comes)
This design has a Tap on top of its Centering Yoke:

This Tab limits the upward travel of the Centering Yoke, not allowing Centerfire Round to fit into the Loader
ALSO, the Loading Beak seems to be slightly shorter in length
I used my new 22UpLULA to load all my 22 Magazines and it works as well as I expected it to
Using the 1911A1 Adaptor, it loaded my ACE Mags and with some patience, it loaded my Ruger MkII Mags as well
But for my MkII Mags, I'll use my HKS-22R-MkIII Loader instead:

I was considering getting the insert to help with my Kahr single stack mags for use with my UpLula K...
until I saw the price. :o
I'll manage without it.

Yeah, it is a bit costy, but I think it will reduce fatigue over time

For those who may want for an UpLula-K at a stock price, a file will remove the above mentioned TAB and, valla, pretty much an UpLula-K....But not quite ! ! !
Please note; The shorter Loading Beak on the 22UpLULA does cause issues with SOME (but not all) Centerfire Mags

Well, I've been working a bit more with MagLULA's new 22UpLULA
I noticed that with some Magazines, the previously loaded Centerfire Round was popping / flipping out of the Mag, right back at me
Couldn't figure out what was up with that .... Then it (really) hit me
The length of the Beaks are different between the two Loaders
The 22UpLULA?s Beak measures 0.90" front to tip
Whereas the UpLula-K's Beak is 1.050"
I wouldn't think that 0.150" would make that big a difference
But with a couple Magazines, it does
I would guess it depends on the length of the Feed Lips and the Overall Length of the Rounds being loaded
If the Beak's Tip is located such that less than 50% of the Round is covered by the Beak, and the Feed Lips are short enough, the Round will flip around the Tip of the Beak and out of the Magazine
Just thought I would share what I've discovered
Here's a pic showing the 22UpLULA on the left and an UpLula-K on the right
Note the difference in length of the Loading Beak

Gotcha, Den. I added Hogue grips to my PO-1 per your your suggestion. They are great
really improves the pistol grip.
