Well my pistol has a aftermarket barrel and new 16.5lb recoil spring. I can shot just about any 9mm ammo. It seems to be very fond of the cheapo winchester practice ammo, although; I believe thats because it feeds very well. The only ammo that doesn't work well is that which doesn't feed i.e. hollow point and the very heavy 147gr blunt nose ammo. As far as cycling the action all the 9mm ammo seems to do that properly.

Howdy!
My new 52 apparently is a conversion. Interestingly, the mag is marked on the bottom "9mm" and highlighted in red.
In looking at this mag and the 3 other "stock" mags for a 52 I cannot see any difference. All four take 9mm cartridges equally. Does anyone know if I must use only the 9mm marked mag? and if so, why?

I can only go by my own experiance, and I switch between 7.62 and 9mm all the time and use the same mags for both so I can't believe the mags are modified in any way. I have heard of some fellows changing the feed lips on the mags to make them feed more reliably so you might want to check that area. Even if one of the mags has been changed it doesn't mean you can't use others just the same.
