Title: Harrington firing pin
Post by: The Drew on June 16, 2005, 09:08:36 PM
how much really does the standard competition harrington set improve trigger pull?  My trigger pull is downright awful right now, and it is the only thing keeping me from shooting my 52 more...

BTW, the x25 round puts steel down with AUTHORITY!!!

Mine went down to 3.5 lbs. Very good.

My original trigger pull was so bad that a friend of mine kept thinking he had failed to disengage the safety. After I installed the Harrington standard competition pin , the change was dramatic-its down to about four pounds from what had to be six , minimum. Its still not where it should be, but its a far sight better.  Happy Shooting-  Mallon

My Harrington pin broke and to make due while I am waiting for a new one I put the original back in.

I might as well not shoot the gun. The first clip I got 3 on the paper at 25y at the very bottom. The second clip after I was very concientious about holding it SUPER steady I got a few in the black(or orange in this case) Normally I can get the majority of 2 clips in the black and even cut some together.

Just for a comparison I pulled out my other CZ52. An unissued, with the orig pin. The pull was better with that one and I hit better but the Harrington pin makes shooting this gun WAY more rewarding and I'd say worth the $$.
