Went shooting today and brought along 2 CZ's and a 9mm Ruger. Everything was going well until I fired the last round from the mag in one of the CZ's. Just as I fired, the mag flew apart. The spring went flying one way, the follower another way and bottom plate flew across the range. I found out afterwards that the plate was to sloppy on the mag and could be wiggled side-to-side. I'm sure that's why it flew apart. Didn't take much to fix. I just wrapped a rag around the mag and slowly squeezed it in the vice until the plate slid on snugly.
Oh btw, both CZ's outperformed the 9mm with ease. Even with my 52 year old eyes I was printing 2"-3" groups at 45 feet free hand.
Also, the guys shooting 2 lanes away (indoor range) commented on the muzzle flash on the CZ's. All in all it was a great day.

make sure the bottom plate is flat they get bent when they are used as a tool for disassembly. i had one that would fly apart and that fixed it

Mike; If you don't mind sharing, what kind of ammo do you use in your CZ? Thanks. Pete

I use nothing but S&B or Winchester. I just shot my last box of Winchester, but still have about 700 rds of S&B.
