I haven't been able to keep the slide stop pin on my 52 snugged up. Every time I shot it, it starts backing out. I have a staking tool from Mac.com and a new pin that I had to sand flush with the frame. I put two dings on the pin right on the edge, and it still works loose. Any ideas?

The staking tool from Makarov.com is really an automatic center punch. It doesn't have much power. When I stake this pin in, it takes two people. One to hold the pistol down firm on the anvil side of the vice and me to stake the pin. You have to swell that pin really good at the end. I would use a good center punch and make a really good indention on the pin. I wouldn't make an indention on the frame. This should take care of your problem.
