We have one near Boise that did something similar (Greenleaf).
Surprisingly, their crime rate is low.

Nelson, Ga., councilwoman Edith Portillo told POLITICO. ?This government intrusion in our lives is getting bigger and bigger ? it?s getting into every section of our lives.?

In order to counter government, local government is going to mandate what people must purchase and maintain... right.   ::)  I'd have no problem satisfying their requirements, but I still have a hard time viewing it as anything but silly posturing.  I don't particularly want the government telling me what I must buy, any more than I want them telling me what I can't buy.
