I shot my first steel challenge match today, what a great time!! The gun shot far better than I did! But I don't think I came in last, which is all I care about. The was one other CZ in the squad I shot in, and a zillion Glocks with a few M&P's mixed in. I can't wait for warmer temps!

Indeed, they are a blast -- glad to hear you enjoyed it -- And better yet, you didn't get DQ'd!
Shoot safe, even if it means coming in last.

I shoot several a year and love them. It probably won't be long before my boys, 11 and 13, will be getting the best of me to. The 13yo is getting fast!!

Slimdog - Langhore Rod & Gun Club has a Steel Challenge this Saturday. If I didn't have to work I would be there!

Sadly our Friday Night Steel challenges I go to have fallen on bad nights and I have not gone for 6 months or so. I am definitely going next week. It will give me a reason to break down my 75 Shadow T and clean it.

Read Langhorne schedule incorrectly:
- Action Pistol is on the 6th
- Steel Challenge is on the 20th

I got the results last night, I finished 34th in the stock pistol division. While not earth shattering, I was not in last........yes there was more than 35 shooters!! 34 of 47 not too bad for my first time, got lots of advise, time to work on a super light load like 80PF........no recoil !

Our first match of the year was canceled last month. This saturday my daughter and I will shoot at Riley, IN. She is going to let me shoot her Shadow Custom!!!
