Title: Kadet for the SP01 Tactical?
Post by: kmobley1 on April 03, 2013, 06:34:26 PM
Ok, I look through here and am still not sure of what I am actually looking for. I own a SP01 Tactical and am trying to find out if there is special kadet set up for it, or if I just get a regular kadet for a 75?  I have a place in town that has a kadet for the 75, but if i buy it and it is wrong then I am not going to get my money back on it.

So specifically, does the regular 75 kadet kit fit my sp01 Tactical?  The 75 does not have a full rail frame.

What is involved here? :-\

I can't answer for sure, but I put my brothers Kadet on my SP-01 Shadow and it worked fine.

There are 2 Kadet kits, one is for the 75 series (all of them), and the Kadet 2 is for the 75 with the Omega trigger system. Either will work for your gun. Good luck finding one though, they are few and far between at the moment and very $$$. I love mine though.

 Thanks for the replies!

I saw on here that "some fitting" might be required.  Can anyone define "some fitting" for me?

I have a Kadet adapter that fits both my SP-01 and my 85B. Go to the CZ-USA website and download a PDF version of the instructions for the Kadet, they show what needs to be fit and how to do it.

There are 2 small tabs on the front of the Kit that may or may not need to be slightly (very slightly) filed/sanded down. I did not have to modify mine at all to fit my 75B in .40. It can be done very well and carefully with a simple nail file/emery board and some light oil if needed.
