Title: CZ TS 40 cal. Advice needed.
Post by: jnr88 on April 20, 2013, 04:43:56 PM
Hello CZ Members,
I'm new to reloading and new to the CZ40. I shoot primarily steel. I ham having FTF problems. The RN bullets I've used feed without a problem. The TFP bullet is the problem. I'm using a 1.125 LOA. I put every round through a Dillon bullet case and randomly mic them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can you tell us who made the bullet so we can get a photo of it ?

If it's like I think it is, then you're going to need to experiment with slight OAL variations. OAL is not sacred. You're allowed to play with it.

Often times mags will also make a difference. I trust you have the factory mags.

 ;)

Hi Wobbly,
Thanks for the reply. The bullet is an RMR. www.rmrbullets.com  I have 5 factory mags and have experienced problems with all.

Rocky Mountain is a bullet distributor, not a bullet manufacturer. We need to know the bullet weight and who made it. No one can help you until you come up with a photo and a weight. Sorry.

The bullet is a 155 Grain Montana Gold FP. I have loaded without problem Extreme 180 Grain FPHP, Bayou Bullet 155 Grain RN and 200 Grain RN.

Hi Wobbly,
Turned out to be a bent extractor. after a quick fix the TS ate everything. Thank you very much for taking the time to respond.
