Ok, I ordered this....... Burris Cz 527 Sa Med 1" Rings Blk
And this: Nikon ProStaff 2-7 x 32 Black Matte scope
Will this work out ok on my new CZ527 Carbine???
I've searched here and found a lot of info which confused me more than I already am--but maybe if I ask this specific question I can get it figured out.

I don't know if it will all fit together but it sounds like a great combo of size, magnification and caliber. Look forward to seeing it.

I have the same scope on my 527 carbine but with the factory rings it came with and it fits great.

I'd guess that the Medium Burris rings would be about the same height as the factory rings that come with the carbine new........so, I'm probably gonna be ok.

the factory cz rings will be high, using a scope with a variable mag ring with med- low rings, I have found nearly always requires a bolt handle mod, with the only one exception being the slim leupold and even then it depended how far back it was held in the rings. the bolt handle mod is a very easy one.

We shall soon see.
Have the scope. Looks good.
Waiting for the rings.
Fingers crossed.

Mine didn't come with rings! Strange.
-
Good question to ask.
Anybody know if the carbine is supposed to come with rings when purchased new?
-
It worked!
The bolt clears the bottom of the scope by about 1/32 of an inch.
Whew. Just barely. It had me looking for scratch marks on the bottom of the scope.
Next comes sighting in as soon as I can get to the range.
