I bought fitted and sold probably 8+ over the years and now decided I need another since the only one I kept is a dedicated one with scope.  Paid $450 used   arghhhhh - never sold one for that much even after fitting etc.

So scarce the link at the top of the Kadet page goes to google instead of CZ

Are they really worth $500.00.  I didn't pay much above that to buy a cz75bdp recently.

Well, that is a great question
Check the price of a Kadet Kit vs the price of a Colt 1911, 22lr / ACE Conversion Kit
Then look at the price of a Marvel Unit 1, the Converision that the Kadet is modeled after
Grated, 22s are pretty costy right now, but still, compare the cost of 22s to the cost of 9mm and see how long it will take for the Kadet Kit to pay for itself

To me it depends on how accurate you want your 22 pistol to be. At $500 they are still cheaper than an equivalent 22 pistol for accuracy etc.  I sold a $1000 pistol after I put my first Kadet together and that was years ago so it would be like a $1400 vs $500 comparison today.  If you don't care where you hit the paper buy a cheaper pistol.

I wouldn't pay $500 for the kit alone.  Prices on Gunbroker are largely ridiculous right now and people are trying to squeeze out a few extra bucks of profit due to the lack of supply.  Be patient and you should be able to get one in the 300's.

I'll go with the Carolina boy.  I moved here from a little place called Mills River just outside Asheville.  And by the way, $500.00 was the bid price or you could buy it now for $600.00.
