I installed the drop in CGW disconnect on my CZ 85. Everything seems to work fine unless I hold the trigger back, cycle the slide and attempt to pull the trigger again.
I have to rock the hammer back ever so slightly and the trigger will then work normally. I want to be able to fire from reset if I am going to try to shoot this in a match.
Can anyone shed some light on this? I plan on calling the shop tomorrow but if this is a common problem with a quick fix I would like to fix it today and go to the range tomorrow.
Thanks!

UH Oh :( I think I falsely blamed the disconnect and it is not the disco.
I also replaced the safety with a brand new one and I checked all the safety functions and they all worked, I did not check to see if the trigger would reset after being held back as I did not see the safety affecting this but apparently it does.

Dang, if I keep talking to myself and studying the gun I think I got it fixed. :)
I swapped safeties two or three times and sometimes one worked and sometimes it didn't and vice versa. The problem starting coming and going until I noticed the trigger pivot pin was sticking out about 1/8". :o
I pushed it back in and so far everything works fine with either safety installed.
I am going to the range tomorrow, that will be the true test.

I know the 'feeling'.
What trigger pin are you using? Stock? CGW solid pin? CZC solid pin?
-
Stock I assume. It is hollow and flared on at least one end.

That's stock and can be a minor PITA to remove and reinstall.
You would be very happy with either the CGW or the CZC solid firing pins that are very easy to remove/install and won't back out. They are well worth the minor cost.

Thanks, I am still new to the CZ platform and there is much to learn.
I will look into something new pin.
Thanks
