Title: Question on the finish of PCR

The PCR I bought new last X'mas has a dull finish, is it standard?

I had a P01 about 3 years ago and IIRC, the finish is more smooth and has some sheen on it.

I also have a new-to-me 75B upper with 2008 date stamp, it's finish is also (still) shiny and smooth.

How is the finish on your PCR?

Got mine Jan. this year but has a 13 YOM. Paper said polycoat finish. It is dull or flat black color. Looks fine to me. Functions perfectly. :) :) :)
