Thank you again Joe, these are vey helpful and well done!
-
Appreciate having them in one place!

Wonder if these could be posted as a sticky at the P series forum.

I just got done installing my CGW hammer in mine last night and it is because of these videos I was able to complete the task without any frustration.
I'm actually surprised how simple the disassembly was and now I have the confidence that if some internal part breaks I can diagnose and fix it myself.

Dev, excellent, that is why I went to the trouble. The pistol is very simple...the SECOND time you take it apart...

I approached it with extreme caution to make sure I did not lose or damage anything. Without your video I may have taken a punch and hammer to remove the pins not knowing that just pushing down on the spring loaded parts was all that was needed to push out the pins with not that much effort. I'm planning to install the same parts in a friends gun and I think I can do it in record time now.
Consider your efforts an investment in others gravitating to this platform which will only make vendors like CGW develop more parts for our guns.

Joe,
Thank you for this. This is the single best post on the entire internet. I love my P-07, and now, I can upgrade and love it even more. Many thanks.

I gotta say, Way to go Joe! The videos are great! The folks at Cajun Gun Works told me about your videos! To everyone out there, Joe even replied to a PM I'd sent asking for help.
Thank you from a CZ noob!

Awesome!! Thanks for doing these videos.
Wow!! What a shooter!!

Gentlemen, glad the videos are helpful. For you recent forum members, here is a video I made early this year while we were all waiting for CGW to finish designing and manufacturing the new hammer kit parts...

Way to go Joe. That was Marksmanship right there. Most of us cant do that from a rest. ;D

Thank you Joe for taking the time to do this! It is very much appreciated to help newbies like me to learn about the P-09. Excellent videos and great to have them all in on place, it should be made a sticky for sure.

These videos were referred to me by David at CGW. Very helpful but not as helpful as David. I called on the weekend, expecting to leave a message. David answered and actually talked me through the disassembly of my 75 Omega. I re-assembled the pistol using his parts and could not be more pleased with the way the trigger feels. Short reset, lighter weight on both DA and SA. I will certainly do business with CGW again. Now if only they made a SAO conversion for the Omega. That might be fun.

Thanks, guys, I'm glad the videos are a help. I made them for all of us to use, especially David's customers.
My other hobby is photography/videography. Shooting lets me combine the two.

thanks for this Joe.

Joe, I have a Cajunized P-09 that was having timing issues. David sent me the largest DA roller CGW makes. He referred me to this thread, which is linked on his fancy new website. Your hammer installation video helped me greatly. I know it's not a highly complicated part to replace, but I'm actually proud that I was able to change it out myself in my first attempt. That video is just so clearly produced all the way through.
Thank you. And a huge thank you to David a.k.a. Schmecky who always looks out for his customers. I only discovered CGW about 6 months ago, and I've already got 2 CZ pistols from them, with #3 on the way. I wouldn't be surprised if I end up ordering several dozen or so in my lifetime...for me and my whole family.
All the best,
MM

Btw, I vote this thread to be a sticky, either here in the Gunsmithing section.

Another SHOUT OUT to Joe for the videos - I just Cajunized a new (to me) P-09 FDE 9mm and used these again (fourth P-series I've Cajunized for myself or friends).
AWESOME VIDEOS!!!

You guys are welcome. I am not a gunsmith, but I know one of the best. I'm not a videographer, but I'm learning. I get to combine my hobbies of pistol shooting and photography/videography and help my friends out, both personal and 'net friends, that's a good use of my hobby time. Glad to be able to do it.

I've said it before and will echo it again, a huge thanks to Joe L!!
