My new 97BD was finished today and is shipping tomorrow. David said DA is just about 8# and SA is 3#  or a bit under. Can't wait!

Tonights mission - Start reloading .45acp since I shot all I had before sending the 97 to Schmecky.

Email last night from David

"I have your 97BD boxed up trigger gauged as follows:  SA - 2 lbs. 15 oz. and just spectacularly crisp; DA is 7 lbs. 15 oz. and will most likely drop down to 7 lbs. 8 oz. when fully broken in.  SA will also drop down about 3-4 oz. once broken in."

Christmas in July!  ;D :D ;D

Look forward to seeing the finished product.  David does great work and I know you will enjoy shooting it. He has my 97B doing the "E Package" and a few more things.  Can't wait to get that call myself. 

Better get busy with the press.....97Bs eat a lot of ammo @10 rounds per magazine, especially one with a trigger pull like he set up for you.

All I can say is WOW!
The barrel bushing feels just like my Dan Wesson! Can't wait to get to the range. Stay Tuned.....
This action is ultra smooth. Going to be a tough choice during USPSA - Production with my 85C to Limited 10 the 97BD.

I want a 97 so bleep bad but it isn't the gun that's the problem :/
It's the $300+ that I order in parts shortly after I buy a gun I shouldn't have in the first place lol

I can't wait to do this bushing mod. Can you do a side close up view of the bushing, just curious on the thickness.
