Had an off day and went to the local range. I bought a 100 pack of tullammo and was ready!! The first 5 rounds was horrible. The rounds double feeding when firing. I unloaded the mag and reloaded it and had no issues. The rest of the 95 rounds fired great . Accuracry was out the window at 25 yards lol ( I need to get the sights dialed in) but I was having to much fun firing it haha. Gun got a little smokey also

Nice 8) I also have one, with the bipod deployed so easy to bump fire....so easy you can actually control to 2-3 round bursts If you wanted to. Is yours imported or built on parts kit?

That sounds like fun. I need to learn how to bump fire this and my AR lol.. I have no idea. I don't know much about the RPK. I went to the store to buy an AK and this thing caught my eye. It is stamped CAI by the mag well. But is dated 1967 on the trun. ( if that's how it is spelled.) any pics of your rpk? I was honestly surprised that there was almost no recoil on this weapon. just as much as my AR I would say.

Lots of videos on YouTube in regards to bump firing. On the right side of the receiver if it says SA CUGIR ......means it was made at the cugir factory in Romania and imported into the U.S if nothing yours was probably built on a U.S receiver and RPK parts kit. As far as I know majority of cugir built RPK has a scope rail mounted on left side of receiver. But CAI does build RPK on US receivers and parts kit. But yours looks clean with no scope rail. Here's mine
2 yrs ago sporting the un issued laminated stock set

wow that is very beautiful . I love it. Oh ok. I think mine was just a parts kit from CAI , on the left hand side of the trun it just has numbers, a triangle and the date.

Thanks CS0, huge fan of the AK platform. Was going to get an RPD, but after shooting a friends own, the really really heavy trigger keeps me from gettin one

I do like the look of the RPD. I may trade if for an AK 47 , but I'm not sure if it will be worth it or not. I do love firing this weapon though. O0
