Is it ok? or should I get A-Zoom caps for it?

My CZ 75 came with a plastic "snap cap". Insert this in the chamber, hold gun downward, jiggle it into the barrel, release slide, and you're good to dry fire.

If your CZ didn't have one, I would suggest getting one from CZ-usa.

I also believe that because it is only plastic, when it is removed by racking the slide, it can't damage the ejector etc. or any of the stuff inside the gun.

I want to buy a pcr so I am lurking here.

akscz75b, feel free to lurk, snoop or just hang anytime you want...  
Mike @ CZUSA says you can dryfire just about any modern CZ all you want...with or without a snapcap.  Its always a good idea to use one..but is not hard and fast rule.....

Thanks for the info. Now I'm wondering why if it is ok to dry fire without a snap cap, would it be better with?  Is there a noticeable amount of wear to the firing pin if I dry fired without a snap cap? Any other parts?

I don't think my PCR came with a snap cap.... unless of course you are talking about that little piece of black plastic with rubber at one end?

I recommend a snap cap. The Azoom ones are best in my opinion. By dry firing without one, you will eventually run the risk of breaking the roll pin that retains the firing pin.

That plastic thing with the green rubber in it is the cz provided snap cap for your gun. It is intended for dry firing.
There are other snap caps which are shaped like real bullets, so you can practice loading your magazine, loading the gun, racking the slide, putting one in the chamber, pulling the trigger, but nothing goes "bang". Seems like a good idea. I saw them on pistoleer.com I think.

I bought some Pachmayr snap-caps probably more for peace of mind than anything else.
