Title: Refinishing a Polycoated CZ
Post by: zen on August 10, 2014, 05:53:25 PM
First post.

I like the Robar NP3 look and how the finish just makes things slide freely.

The polycoat is that ceracoat or a polymer film over the steel and alloy frame?

Has anyone had their CZ sent to Robar for NP3

Polycoat is a polymer/enamel over parkerization.  Whoever applies new just blasts it off.  The old PreBs could be taken off with paint remover - not these - it is fairly durable, but nothing like Ceracoat, etc.

Have you seen NP3 refinishing on a PCR or clone? Anyone on this forum have this done?
