Title: CZ Shadow HAJO TAC Rear ADJUSTMENT Windage
Post by: 1911acp on August 18, 2014, 07:57:00 AM
New owner of CZC 75 Shadow with the rear Hajo site. Adjustment of height is intuitive, but how to adjust for left/right drift ? Mine shoots about 2" left at 15 yards. Thanks

Sight pusher or hammer & dowel.

Has anyone else shot it?  If so does the POI go left as well?

Literature on sight says it is adjustable for both height and windage.  A sight pusher is not my understanding of adjustible. That makes all dove tail sights adjustable.  Anyone else ?

And I quote.

The CZ Custom HAJO, is click adjustable for height and drift for windage, competition sight, same sight picture as our familiar fixed models, but this sight with no modification to the slide fits in the ?SHADOW ONLY? rear sight cut.

Yes, Hajo is windage adjusted by drifting it left / right ('drift' means push it, it's there in the text you quoted). That is adjustable vs something like CZ front sight that you can not adjust left/right via drifting as you can with a 1911 dovetail front sight, since cz front sight is a fore/aft dovetail.

Sir,  "HAJO" = Height AdJustment Only
The CZCustom site ( :D)  says "Height Adjustable".    http://czcustom.com/czshadowtacrearhajo.aspx
Loosening the retaining screws and using a punch/dowell etc  or a sight pusher.,  you can move the whole sight slightly left or right as needed.  Once that is set,  it shouldn't need to be readjusted right and left again.

Hope this helps

Thank you all for the help with HAJO. I found a diagram on CZC on adjustment. Where can I get the jig located in the picture ?

Thank you all for the help with HAJO. Can anyone tell me where the screws are located to loosen sight ?

Totally unscrew the height adjustment, screw comes out, don't loose detent or springs underneath, flip up sight, you'll see set screws below
