Hello fellow 97b owners and enthusiasts! Might one of you with experience in such matters be able to tell me if the SA pull of a 97b SA/DA trigger can ever be as clean and crisp as SAO?
Thanks in advance.

yes..install a competition hammer and short reset disconnector.
break will be clean and trigger travel minimized.

Stuart is right.
Whether SAO or DA/SA makes no difference in the actual break, the trigger is merely a pivot on a CZ.

Thanks to you both. I can't imagine two more authoritative responses. I was considering a SAO conversion, but that seems unnecessary now.

You can go either way, but its not necesssary for a great break now. SAO or DAO, it becomes a shooters choice.
Much has changed in the past couple of years. It is much easier to get your CZ to spectacular levels now with the development that has been going on. Much credit to a few companies out there for investment and commitment.

These guys know what they're talking about for sure ! I just finished the CGW kit install on my 97B and it's night and day difference over the stock trigger action. Couldn't be happier. I ended up with an 8 lb DA and 3.5 lb SA crisp trigger. Really fun shooter now. I also swapped out the stock sights for some XS Big Dot sights, as the stock fiber optic front sight snagged in the holster real bad and was hard to pick up quickly with my old eyes. Love the Big Dot sights.
