the white sights on my new CZ 75 P-01 are starting to come off, one rear sight is gone and the other is starting to fade.
Is CZ responsible for them

How long have you had the pistol? Sometimes the sight paint that is put on to meet import criteria isn't the greatest, and I've repainted with tester model paint, to be honest. best if you can afford it is to just get a set of CZ night sights. :)

Welcome to the forum Dennis. This might be a good time to justify new sights. If you like to be frugal though, AND IF you like the sights that glow after putting light on them, there are several paints that you can apply that glow. Otherwise, the model paint will work just fine.

thanks for the welcome
just got my CZ in April, I think I will try paint and save for the night sights.
I have a small 22 with night sights, and what a difference.
thanks again for the welcome and info ...... Towns & armoredman

i've used the ultra green v10 glow paint to redo my sight both front and rear! http://glowinc.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=2

I use Testor's fluorescent red for the front sight and Testor's flat white for the rear. Be sure that you get enamel and not acrylic. Paint the dots with a round toothpick.

I went with HiViz and they look great... will try them at the range this weekend
