I recently changed my rear sight to a fixed tactical rear sight and it's shooting 3" low @ 7rds. CZ customs site recommends a 5.5mm height front sight with the tactical rear sight. I just want to find out what the stock front fiber optic height is. I don't own calipers and haven't found any info.

The stock FO front sight from my 2013 97B measures 5.56mm, including the base, which is how CZ Custom measures its sights. If you don't go to CZ Custom and use a Dawson FO sight, you need to allow for the height of the base, which I think is .085", when looking at Dawson sights because the height listed is only the blade above the sight.

I had this, but you should verify it.
CZ Front Sight Heights ( came from eerw)
Factory rear sight on a SP01/75B uses a 5.5mm front
CZ Shadow uses a 6.0mm front sight
CZ WITH CZ Competition rear or Tactical rear uses 6.5mm front sight
CZ TS uses a 7.5mm front sight.

I just installed this from Dawson Precision on my CZ97BD with the tactical rear sight from CZ Custom. It may shoot a little low (less than .5 inch at 10 yards) but I haven't shot it enough verify it 100%.

This height is equivalent in size to a 5.7 mm CZ Custom. I think the 5.5 from CZ Custom is just about right from a point of aim to point of impact perspective. I prefer the fit and finish of the Dawson front sights. If they would make a .130T version for the 75B series guns...
Cheers,
