I have a CZ83 that I enjoy and would like to buy a CZ82. I live in the Dallas, TX area and the friendly neighborhood FFL can help me with transfers if necessary.
I found 2 in gunbroker but would like to see if there are better deals out there.
Please let me know.
1. Where can you find one?
2. Reasonable price or price range.
Gracias

Southern Ohio Gun has some for under $300. You need a FFL (or C&R) to order from them though. Perhaps your local FFL can order on from them for you?

Thanks for the tip knoxy.

And you need to be logged into an account (with FFL on file) to see the good stuff on their website.

What is the good stuff?
What CZ goodies?

All the firearms...C&R license (for 3 yrs) costs $30 and a month of waiting time...well worth it IMHO

Especially since dealers like Brownell's give a discount if you have an FFL on file with them.

Graf's is another but to keep it, you have to make some hefty orders.
Midway used to have it but took it away as of Jan 1.
But having firearms shipped to you without paying a fee to the dealer and it being on your schedule has its benefits...a few Mosin Nagants have snuck in under the wife's nose as a result...

I'd like another CZ 82, but I'm waiting for prices to return to pre-Sandy Hook levels. Earlier that year I paid the following:
$199 price
$ 15 shipping
$ 18 WA sales tax
$ 30 FFL fee
$262 total.

Skookum - thats a sweet deal. Once the CZ82 price climbs to $300 and higher it is not a sweet deal anymore. You can buy a clone for that money.
Thanks for the replies everyone.

I bought my 82 with the idea of making it a project gun, but it had been refurbished in Czechoslovakia and apparently not used much, if at all, afterwards. The SA trigger is far better than that in either of my 83s, which gives me something to look forward to after they are well used.

The CZ82 is only going to go up...they don't make them anymore and the importable quantities are dropping.

True, but the 82 is still in use by Czech and Slovak troops. When they are eventually replaced, the pool of milsurps will be partially replenished.

If our government doesn't ban their import...

Im glad I bought 5 a few years back.

The CZ82 has gotten really hard to find. I was hoping to make this my first CZ but it's starting to look like an availability problem.

I just recently got a cz 82 at a gun show here in NH for $230, seems like it might need some trigger work, but I took it to the range today and loved it so glad to have joined the cz family.

Have you checked GunBroker?
I bought mine from Southern Ohio Guns, but they appear to be out of stock at the moment.

I've been looking for awhile. Seems like gunbroker is the only option. I've had a "want to buy" locally here for awhile and no replies. Just keep seeing the Polish and Hungarian variants.
