Title: Choke tubes feeling "gritty"

Brand new 20ga. Redhead. I realize there are some machining issues with a brand new gun, that being said; I've lubed them and it got somewhat better. My question is has anyone else had this issue? and does it get better?  Thanks.

Yes, and yes, kinda.

Some threads about it over in the Huglu forum at SGW.  Mine had lots of grit/dust I think from the hard chroming.  Lots of brushing, lube, brush again worked for me.  Clean the threads on the chokes too.

Many folks have sent them in and Neil has cleaned them out very nicely and returned them too.
