Title: CZC aluminum magazine baseplate question
Post by: BillR on November 21, 2014, 09:16:17 AM
I bought a few of the flat basepads like this. http://czcustom.com/cz75flatalbasepadsil.aspx (http://czcustom.com/cz75flatalbasepadsil.aspx)
I also saw that you make specific pads for IDPA. http://czcustom.com/cz75flatalbasepadsilidpa.aspx (http://czcustom.com/cz75flatalbasepadsilidpa.aspx)
Here's my question:
After installing the standard baseplates I received, the gun looks like it would still fit the IDPA box easily. The baseplates are not overweight for IDPA, so I'm wondering what makes the other baseplates more suitable for IDPA.

What's the story?

Thanks in advance!

the IDPA baseplate is for the SP01 magazine to fit the box.
If you use a magwell, the pad on the SP01 mag needs to be changed because the polymer pad is too tall.
so you have to trim or change basepads. So this is the pad in that particular situation you will want to use.
