Title: CZ 75 Compact, Adjusted rear sight height / Range Results.

I don't know why, but when it comes to ordering parts I just hate to pay outrageous Shipping and Handling charges.  So that is what brought this on.  I wanted to move my group up 1".  So after figuring out how much higher my rear sight had to be.  Sight radius 5" x 1" high, divided by 7 yards (252") = 0.0198"   So after much thought I decided to modify my rear sight.  So this is what I came up with.  It just so happens my old NRA card is plastic and .020 thick.   After blacking out the white dots with flat black touch up paint.  I cut the a piece of the NRA card and glued it into the bottom of the notch of the rear sight.

I really quite don't know how you meant your comment.  But here is what I was trying to accomplish.  I think I did it.

This was the first group that I was trying to inprove on.

I'm happy with the end result.  7 yards, off hand.
