OK, mags received yesterday, 5/25, in perfect shape, box in good shape, all nice and dandy!

Transaction was 2x Mec-Gar CZ 75 16rd mags at $17.53 + $9.40 UPS Ground S&H, total at my house = $44.46.

One week from order to receipt.

Not bad!

call CZ-USA for the basepads..

they are not always listed on the website..so it is best to call..they are $8.60 a pop, with about $8 shipping..

but they do arrive only  a few days later..

Thanks! I'll bear that in mind... and also when making my next purchase. ($17.53 + $5 S&H + $8 basepad + $?? S&H may be >= stock CZ mag pricing!)

I may keep a couple Mec-Gars "stock," so that I can trim every little bit to make concealed carry as much more easy as possible....

Maybe the SP-01 wasn't the best choice.... lol!

OTOH, I guess it just means I need to start saving for a PCR or 40P!

How have the MecGars worked out for the SP01 as far as reliability?

Mec Gars work great in the whole CZ series I actually tested the 40 12 round magazine for Mecgar when they first arrived, they sent me a couple to test absolutly no problems to report.

I noticed that Trading Post has Mec-Gar - .40S&W 12 Round Magazine Blue (V) Model - CZ 75 Champion (http://store.tradingpostsupply.com/1992037.html). Does anyone know if these will work okay in the 40P?

Just FYI, I ran 50 rds of CCI Blazer Al and 50 rds Winchester USA through them this weekend without a hitch!
