Title: Bad Blade Tech love
Post by: chrisjohn on May 19, 2006, 10:37:20 PM
Before I realized that Angus carries the DOH and is in stock by the way, I ordered one from directly from blade tech.  It arrived six weeks later, this afternoon.

Pull the bad boy out of the Fedex envelope and guess what?  They sent me a left hand holster with belt loops instead of the right handed Tek Lock model listed on the order form!  After six weeks of waiting, stuck with a rig I can't use!  Ahhh!!!!

Had to vent some where.

I do not blame you for needing to vent! I mean after six weeks!

So, supposing you were left handed... how well does this holster work?

I AM LEFT HANDED AND I WANT A BLADE TECH!!!

I have also been waiting about five or six weeks for my orders, typical for them.

Which one did you get?  The regular or the DOH?  What size belt loops?

Maybe we can help each other out?

It's got loops for 1 3/4 belt.

Is it the DOH?  Or the standard mount?

1 3/4 loops are perfect.

I will send you a PM with my phone number.

Thanks,

-Tom-

I have been waiting on mine since mid-March.  Maybe the one they shipped him was supposed to be for me?  How many guys could possibly be looking for a LH DOH for an SP01?

Just a thought...

It's the DOH 1 3/4 loops.  If you're interested I'd rather ship to you and then buy one from Angus.

Does the bladetech rub on the frame much? Have you noticed any wear? Also, how much are they going for if I may ask?

I too got a Blade-Tech DOH for my SP-01 from Angus a few weeks ago and it is much better than the Fobus Glock 20/21 holster I've been using for the last year or so.  It also allows me to use my Kadet Kit installed on my SP-01 which my Fobus doesn't allow because of the higher sights on the Kadet.  I loved the Dropped and Offset, makes it feel very comfortable and fast to draw.

DOH are $60.00 plus shipping they can be found here.

All Kydex styleholster will impart some wear, but the polycoat finish is pretty durable mine show some wear after, a lot of use and I mean A LOT.
