Title: Inexpensive holster option for SP-01
Post by: gunfighter on April 09, 2006, 08:42:48 AM
I've been reading about the Fobus Glock 20/21 holster fitting the SP-01 so I decided to try the even less expensive Uncle Mike's Glock 20/21 belt holster.

My SP-01 fits great.  The slide stop does interfere a bit on inside wall of the holster, but it doesn't interfere with holstering or drawing.  I may dremel a small notch on the inside wall to accomodate the slide stop

I've been using that holster for about 9 months now with my SP-01.  I still want to get a Blade Tech DOH holster because the Fobus doesn't fit perfectly and allows some swivel or wiggle room for the pistol and doesn't retain it strongly if inverted.

I'm surprised that your SP-01 fits in that Fobus holster with the CZ Competition raised sights.  My SP-01 with the Kadet kit installed won't fit in the holster because of the slightly taller Kadet sights.
