Title: CZ Bobwhite feel like tossing in the trash
Post by: czfreak on January 18, 2015, 04:02:20 PM
i bought a new bobwhite in 20ga and the fire pins go right through the primers of the shells so you have to crack it over your knee just to open it. they have been having this problem for how many years now???? makes me sick that they still have not corrected this issue. so tell me, do you really think CZ gives a bleep about its customers? why would they allow this issue to continue? I will never buy another one of their pos shotguns again. I had a 912 semi and it wouldn't cycle certain shells I should have learned from that piece of crap. the hell with their junk crap from turkey

Have you called and spoken to them about the problem?

I am Monday, point is, they know they have this problem, why isn't it corrected yet. they have been selling them for like 7 years. they need to get out of the shotgun business before it ruins their name

How about you post what they say when you've spoken to them. Until then, I'd be obliged if you'd lay off the bitching in every thread someone posts about a shotgun. You may well be right in your case, but they actually sell 1000s of these things so some people actually don't have problems with them.

well, I did talk to Neale today at CZ and its going back, I asked why they continue to put these out with the issue and basically said they try to keep up with the manufacture but nothing they can do. I take it that poor QC

Grendel, this forum is for the good and the bad correct? why are you chastising for being critical? I have every right to speak my mind, I have owned 4 of their shotguns, 2 semi's, 1 pump and now the Bobwhite. The only one that worked right was the pump, I would say yes, they have issues with their shotguns. im not some creep who never owned one and talking out of my ass, I have hands on ownership of these guns and people need to hear the bad.

There's an appropriate time and place for negative reviews, not on every persons thread that talks about a CZ shotgun.

I would be careful how you proceed.

Okay, I asked you nicely and it seems it fell on deaf ears. The only rights you have on this forum are those the owners, admins, and mods choose to allow you. I don't want to see another negative post from you on any other members posts about their shotgun. Are we clear?

Does CZ make those shotguns?  Or are they made by a different company for CZ?

They are made by a company in Turkey.  CZ markets them in Europe and US.  Have one of the OU in 28ga and it runs fine.  Having lived in Turkey for a couple of years, QC and maintenance are not their strong points.  Some of their craftsmanship and engineering are quite good.

Wow. I know this is a old post but wow. Yelling and screaming on a forum isn't going to get a CZ gun fixed any faster. I just bought a CZ Bobwhite Shotgun. It's my first CZ, it looks fine and seems to work like it was made to. I will be shooting it for the first time tomorrow. Everything so far has been better than I had thought it could be for the price point of the firearm.

I have had several cars and trucks. 99% of my American built car and truck are POS's. I know there are some that are very good. But when a New Jeep's engine nearly blows up to say. Well something let lose in it and it was so load you'd have to plug your ears while the engine was running. I was on the phone almost every day to get answers on my FREE rental car that was including in my warrenty, but the phone system would return me to if you know your parties extension please press it now. No matter which number I pressed. It took only 6 1/2 weeks to rebuild the motor. Lucky for me it was under warranty, and it only would of cost me almost 1/2 of what I paid for the Jeep. For me the the J in Jeep is pronounced CHA, yes it is pronounced CHEAP. No wonder how Chrysler is the number on auto company in the world for the most bankruptcies.

I hope one of the best warranties in the gun word worked out for you. I don't see any reply about how the warranty work worked out in the end. What's up?

Again, the OP hasn't been on the forum since 2015, so you'll never know.
