I am trying to find the perfect load for IPSC. I use Hornady 115gr FMJ bullets. I am very interested to get some feedback from you guys.
Do you feel a big difference between 115gr and 124gr ?
What powder is the best choice for the 9mm ? I use Winchester 231 and Bullsey. If have tried some loads with TiteGroup.
I will post details as soon I 'll have some time to complete the tests (My chrono is out of order)

You might try power pistol from Alliant (supposedly just a tweaked version of Bullseye). It makes good velocity, and has proven accurate, and consistant with minimal effort.

couple of powders that seem to be used a lot are Viht N320 and Tightgroup..
I am getting ready to try some N320 loads with 124CMJ and 124JHP bullets..otherwise I tend to shoot WWB ammo..

Pistol Powder is good for the 124 jacketed loads but Accurate Arms #7 will get you higher velocities and is a bit cleaner burning and easier more consistent metering in a Dillon powder measure. Charge weights run from 7.0grs to 8.0grs for 1200fps. AA#5 is also a god choice if you have that with charge weights from 5.4grt to 6.4grs for a bit over 1230fps at max loads.

I've got some IMR7625 (Happened into 48lbs of it) I've been playing with. It meters extremely well. Works pretty good for the 9x23. I have not tried it for the 9x19. I don't know what it'll do velocity wise in the 9x19, but it does meter extremely well.
