Title: CZ P07 Duty safety click not working

The safety on my CZ duty is working fine but I can't hear the click while locking and unlocking. I changed the de-cocker to safety.

You should change to decocker. The Decocker on the P-07 works a lot better than the safety does. The safety comes from the factory with an easily broken spring loaded plastic detent piece that gets lost sooner or later.

The safety never worked well, but the Decocker works great, even better than on my other Decocker pistols (3 Bersas).

After my experience with it, I wouldn't advise anyone to use a P-07/09 with the Safety lever. Switch to decocker and have peace of mind and sure function. Since the pistol has a firing pin block and the safety is unreliable--there's really no good reason to keep the Safety lever and its spring loaded detent plastic piece that is not reliable.

If you want to change back to decocker, JOE has a video to show how to do it. Without the video, it would be very frustrating.

reshp1 is right. The safety does work as long as you are careful not to lose the detent piece and spring whenever you take the safety lever off to make upgrades. But there won't be any "click" even if you do order a new set of safety levers with new spring and detent. You can tell when it goes into place "on safe" but there really is no click. There is also no click when the safety is moved into the "fire" position.

The safety on both my P07 and P09 clicks loud enough to hear with hearing protection on....

Wow, my P-07 came with the Safety installed and it never made an audible click. Maybe it was screwed up before I bought it.

Hmmm....strange.  Like I said, both of mine click on and off and you can definitely hear and feel it.  I would unload the gun, double check it...and then check to make sure the safety is working properly.

If the manual safety is missing the detent parts or is not inserted fully, it won't click.

Yeah, mine has a very audible/tactile click moving on and off safe.

Just lucky, I guess........
